Join us for a hands on workshop designed to teach you the steps of the peacock glazing technique. This unique method allows for the creation of vibrant, dynamic patterns that mimic the striking visual effects of a peacock’s feathers.

What You Will Learn:
Understanding Glaze Composition: Explore different types of glazes and how their properties can affect the final outcome.
Application Techniques: Learn the step-by-step process of applying the peacock glaze to your pieces, ensuring an even distribution and optimal results.
Layering Techniques: Discover how to layer glazes to achieve depth and complexity in your designs.
Materials Provided:
(1) small test bowl and (1) 6-8inch bisqueware bowl. You may bring an additional piece of your own to glaze.
A variety of glazes in different colors. You may bring your own cone 6 glazes to try.
Tools for application
Glaze firing pieces. Finished pieces will be available for pickup 2-4 weeks after workshop.
Prerequisites:
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced potter, you will find valuable techniques to enhance your glazing practice.
